We had a feeling this one wasn’t over yet. The incredible media attention to the Malaysian Flight 370 mystery has yielded a shocking new revelation. We already knew that the United States had a military base, DIEGO GARCIA, in the Indian Ocean near where the plane may have gone down.

New information has surfaced from Intellihub News, where journalist Jim Stone that claims a photo was sent by passenger Philip Wood, a technical storage executive at IBM, confirming his location as being within a couple miles of the Diego Garcia base.

The text accompanying the photo reads:

“I have been held hostage by unknown military personal after my flight was hijacked (blindfolded). I work for IBM and I have managed to hide my cellphone in my ass during the hijack. I have been separated from the rest of the passengers and I am in a cell. My name is Philip Wood. I think I have been drugged as well and cannot think clearly.”

According to Jim Stone, there are two HUGE smoking guns here that this is a legit story. One) Metadata is legit and this kind of EXIF can’t be rewritten with common software. Two) voice recognition software used the word personal instead of personnel, which is consistent with a blind software assisted dial out. And three) “GPS coordinates in the photo do not perfectly match what Google says and are not posted anywhere on the web, because it proves that the source of those coordinates did not come from google or Wikipedia, they really did come from the imaging device and it HAD TO be at Diego Garcia when it took the photo.”

This is starting to make more and more sense. Remember this except from the Malaysian Insider:

“Investigations into the flight simulator taken from the missing pilot’s home showed a software for five practice runways, including one belonging to the United States (DIEGO GARCIA), Berita Harian reported today.”

It begs the question: how long were the passengers of Flight 370 alive after the hijacking and are they still alive? It also begs the question, how did he get an iPhone 5 into his ass?
